Ardoch and our Corporate Social Responsibility Activities

Ardoch Loch Lomond estate was gifted to CHAS (Children’s Hospices Across Scotland) in 2020 with a view to establishing Ardoch as a unique profit with purpose exclusive use venue within the Scottish hospitality industry, helping CHAS to build a new innovative and sustainable source of income for the future. All Ardoch profits will go towards CHAS. CHAS children and families will also be able to enjoy spending time at Ardoch on dates set aside throughout the year for CHAS to use.

At Ardoch, we believe in conducting business ethically in all we do. Our vision is to operate a thriving, sustainable and responsible business with consideration for our people, the community and our planet.  We strongly believe that it is vital to foster sustainable development. Our business is committed to acting responsibly, and to protecting the environment.

We are committed to our focus on green initiatives and green policies by monitoring and reducing consumption levels, converting environmental efforts into cost-reduction and revenue generating opportunities whilst promoting Ardoch’s corporate and social responsibilities.

We are currently working with The Green Tourism Accreditation scheme to strive towards implementing our green and environmentally friendly policies. See our Sustainability Page for more info.

Our Customers and CSR

In tandem with Ardoch’s CSR responsibilities, we are delighted to be able to present several different opportunities to our customers to engage with CSR activities during their stay at Ardoch and by choosing to do this, customers will be helping our work across the estate. As a result, you will be helping our pledge to commit our surplus profits to CHAS, and will also be contributing to create a sustainable landscape and gardens which can be enjoyed by customers and also CHAS families.

CHAS also offer opportunities for corporate groups to spend a day working outdoors at Robin House, the CHAS Hospice, which is located just 4 miles away from Ardoch. Some examples of CSR opportunities are:
