Covid-19 Guidance

We want to assure you that our top priority always has been, and remains, the well-being of our guests and team members. As such, your guest journey will now look and feel slightly different, with our enhanced set of hygiene and safety measures. We have conducted risk assessments and the below are part of the control measures we have put in place after the assessments. Here are the travel safety measures we have put in place:

GUEST ARRIVAL

  1. We will continue to temperature check all guests on arrival.
  2. Hand sanitising stations are at the front door, for you to use before entering, and placed throughout the venue.
  3. NHS Track & Trace - Guests are encouraged to continue using the NHS App throughout their visit.
  4. Guests will be asked to sign in when they arrive.
  5. Our staff will be happy to answer any questions you may have on arrival and throughout your stay.
  6. Hand sanitising stations are provided at key points in the public areas.

THROUGHOUT YOUR STAY

  1. We will ask guests to wear face coverings when circulating around the internal venue areas - this is still a legal requirement in Scotland.
  2. When guests are seated, they will not be required to wear a face covering.
  3. We ask that everyone respects the 1m+ social distancing guidance.
  4. Please wash you hands frequently.
  5. We have established strict table/chair sanitisation procedures for event areas.

OUR STAFF

  1. Staff will be temperature checked on arrival at work.
  2. Social distancing - our team will follow a policy of no physical contact and maintain physical distancing, wherever possible.
  3. Employees will be required to wear masks or face shields at all times and social distance wherever practically possible.
  4. Our team receive ongoing training.

BEDROOMS

  1. All rooms will have enhanced cleaning and our products and procedures meet Government Guidelines for effective use against viruses and bacteria.
  2. Our paper items have been removed.
  3. Rooms will be ventilated with windows open during the cleaning process
  4. We will now only service guest rooms on departure.

TRAINING

All our team have received comprehensive training and carried out risk assessments to ensure awareness and strict adherence to Government Guidelines on hygiene and our new cleaning and sanitising procedures and social distancing.

"WE'RE GOOD TO GO"

We have been granted the COVID-19 Industry Standard, "We're Good To Go". The accreditation is the official UK mark to signal the effort put in place by our team and shows that as a business we have worked hard to follow Government and industry COVID-19 guidelines. It also confirms that we have appropriate processes in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.

WHAT TO DO IF SOMEONE IS UNWELL

If in the unfortunate case, you have any COVID-19 symptoms such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, or loss of tasteand smell, we ask that you contact us, and postpone your visit..

It is important to note, that for the safety of our guests and the safety of our team, that any guests displaying symptoms consistent with COVID-19 will be requested to return to their room, self-isolate and seek medical attention. Should you be advised to self-isolate, we will request that you check out immediately and return home if able to safely do so. No visitors should be permitted to enter the room occupied by the affected guest.

If you are either unable to travel home safely or to isolate for whatever reason within their room , or risks cannot be mitigated to protect staff, you should discuss this with both the General Manager and NHS Test and Protect team to devise an appropriate plan.

For other guests attending the event:

You do not need to self-isolate as a close contact if you meet all of the following criteria:

  • You are fully vaccinated and 14 days has passed since your second dose of vaccination.
  • You have taken a negative PCR test since being advised to isolate as a close contact. You must remain in self-isolation while awaiting the result of the PCR test result.
  • You do not develop COVID-19 symptoms. If symptoms develop at any stage, you must self-isolate immediately and book a PCR test, in line with existing arrangements.

Adults who are not fully vaccinated must continue to self-isolate for 10 days if identified as a close contact of someone who has tested positive, ideally in their home setting. If you are not fully vaccinated, receiving a negative PCR test result after identification as a close contact does not permit you to leave self-isolation.

people who test positive must still self-isolate for 10 days from the onset of symptoms, or from the date of the positive test if displaying no symptoms.

And finally, we would ask you to please treat our team and your fellow guests with kindness and respect during this recovery period.
